Modality Solutions, a biopharmaceutical cold chain engineering firm, is pleased to announce it made its first appearance on the Houston Business Journal’s Fast 100 list. Modality Solutions ranked No 91 with reported two-year revenue growth of 56%.

With corporate headquarters in Houston, Modality Solutions is a biopharmaceutical cold chain engineering firm with regulatory filing authorities, logistics network experts, and experienced integrated staffing professionals.

Founded in 2011 by Gary Hutchinson and Daniel J Littlefield, the cold chain firm currently employs six chemical engineers and support staff locally, with additional engineers in Bloomington, Indiana.

The Fast 100 has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success for the Houston area. For 2019, revenue growth was based on companywide revenue from the fiscal year 2016 to the fiscal year 2018. To qualify, companies had to be Houston area-based, privately held, be for-profit, and have earned at least $1m in revenue in the last fiscal year.

The following Modality Solutions team members attended the Houston Business Journal awards event at the Marriott Marquis on 26 September, founders, Gary Hutchinson and Daniel J. Littlefield, consulting engineers, Robert Battista, Kelsey Crawford and Rachel Sawyer.

According to Editor-in-Chief, Giselle Rodriguez Greenwood in the publication’s 27 September to 3 October issue featuring the honorees: “Congratulations to all 2019 Fast 100 and Innovation Award honorees. Your perseverance and hard work are what defines our city.

Also, in September 2019, Modality Solutions ranked No 3094 on Inc Magazine’s annual Inc 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Modality Solutions reported revenue growth of 120% was based on comparing fiscal years 2015 and 2018. The firm also ranked No 47 in its Inc 5000 industry category of top engineering companies.
