Europe drives IT hiring at GlaxoSmithKline

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 45.33% share, which marked a 2.86% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 38.67%, registering a 3.33% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 14.67% share and a 22.22% rise over July 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.33% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 32% share in August 2021, a flat growth over July 2021. Poland featured next with a 22.67% share, down 29.17% over the previous month. US recorded a 14.67% share, an increase of 37.5% compared with July 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead GlaxoSmithKline IT hiring activity in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60%, down by 4.26% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 21.33% share, a decline of 15.79% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.67% share, up 10% over July 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 4%, recording a month-on-month increase of 50%.
