Chronic kidney disease patients likely to go undiagnosed due to Covid-19 pandemic

At present, the UK has over 301,000 total confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), making it the fifth most-affected country worldwide. Since the beginning of March, elderly and medically vulnerable individuals, such as chronic kidney disease patients, in the country have been advised by the NHS to “shield” (stay home and follow specific guidelines).
