Alcnonox has introduced its new low-foaming, high alkaline liquid detergent Keylajet®.

This detergent is ideal for extremely tough residues in a clean-in-place (CIP) application and is one of the company’s newest products.

While low-foaming, phosphate-free liquid Solujet® has been a highly effective detergent for CIP applications throughout the pharmaceutical and related industries, new and changing pharmaceutical residues such as tablet coatings and metal oxides, and increases in needs for cosmetic industry cleaning and cleaning validation have provided the impetus for a high-alkaline, low foaming detergent, with highly effective chelators.

Like all Alconox detergents, Keylajet® is free-rinsing, biodegradable, and free of interfering residues.
Keylajet detergent is also highly effective on heavy greases, tars, resins, waxes, fats and oils, as well as titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, and silicone residues commonly found in the cosmetics industry.

This new product is ideal for the toughest residues that are being removed via automated, high-pressure and/or CIP cleaning methods, as well as soaking, scrubbing, and sonication with proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
