Orion Continues to Increase Production Capacity of Hormonal Gels and Solutions

Orion continues to develop its capabilities and capacity for manufacturing of hormonal gels and solutions for contract manufacturing customers. A large new manufacturing unit has been qualified earlier this year, providing a new option to increase batch sizes.

As the growth of demand for Orion’s capacity for the manufacturing of hormonal gels and solutions continues to rise, a major project to further expand the manufacturing area by almost 6,000m² was kicked-off late last year. The new facility will be ready for new customers and products in the summer of 2014.

At this modern department, and with the help of the new, efficient manufacturing units, we are able to remarkably expand our capacity for the production of hormonal gels and solutions. Several packaging options are available and space has also been reserved for additional future volumes.

The range of other contract manufacturing capabilities available from Orion include manufacturing, packaging and testing of hormonal tablets, cytostatic tablets and capsules, small volume parenterals, conventional tablets, creams, ointments and liquids.

Our sites are all located in Finland, and products from our sites are exported to all major markets, including EU, US, JPN, Latin America and Australia.
