The global climate emergency requires urgent action, as the latest climate science from the IPCC described by the UN as a “code red” for humanity.

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science. It is focused on accelerating companies across the world to halve emissions before 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

The SBTi promotes and defines best practices in science-based target setting and independently assesses and approves companies’ targets.

Dycem, the market-leading manufacturer of contamination control flooring and provider of non-slip solutions has committed to creating net-zero targets.

Dycem has committed to submit short and long-term, company-wide emission reductions in line with the science-based net zero with the SBTi. We have responded to the SBTi’s urgent call for corporate climate action by committing to align with 1.5°C and net-zero through the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign.
