Tekni-Films, a Tekni-Plex Company and supplier of blister films to the pharmaceutical industry, now offers PVdC coated PVC films manufactured at their state-of-the-art facility in Flemington, NJ. Tekni-Films is one of only two companies to manufacture PVdC coated PVC films in the US.
“By manufacturing this product locally we can now offer contract packagers and our multi-national pharma customers the added peace of mind that comes with having a secondary material supplier in America,” said Michiel Vandenberg, director of global pharmaceutical package development at Tekni-Films.
Competitively-priced, Tekni-Films high-clarity PVdC coatings are available at 40g per square metre and up, in both duplex and triplex constructions. PVdC coated PVC films meet all regulatory requirements and offer high transparency for more attractive packaging, an excellent low to medium barrier to moisture and oxygen, and good thermoformability.
