Focusing on providing secure storage and preserving materials from a broad range of research sectors, EPL Archives is a partner for equipment sourcing strategies and delivery programmes.
Alongside Therapak, MESM and EPL Archives form the clinical and biorepository services of VWR, part of Avantor. Together, they represent a unique group of experts dedicated to optimising the progress of clinical operations, offering meticulous care of samples, whole product lifecycle support and configurable kit manufacturing.
A new biorepository facility was opened by EPL Archives this month, spanning a 24-acre campus. The new facility will enable EPL to expand the resources and reach available to their clients.
The first facility opening on this campus offers more than 155,000ft2 of new storage capacity, designed to support a full spectrum of EPL professional biorepository services. This is an advance for EPL which demonstrates the progressive goals of all VWR partners.
EVP of Services for Avantor Ulf Kepper said: “Our new facility in Leesburg is designed and maintained to the highest standards in the archival and biorepository industry.
“It will provide nearly 1.5 million cubic feet of additional secure and environmentally controlled storage capacity, as well as expansive temperature critical environments, to support our customers.”
