MODULAR PLANTS

Romaco IPM specializes in modular plants, which can be supplied complete with equipment and production expertise to ensure rapid start-up and production to international pharmaceutical standards anywhere in the world. A variety of cleanroom classes are available.

LIQUIDS AND CREMES PROCESSING

FrymaKoruma technology is internationally recognized as the leader in vacuum mixing dispersion and homogenisation technology for the production of semi-solids such as crèmes, pastes, ointments and gels in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors and sauces, dressings, mayonnaise and ketchup in the food industry.

SOLIDS AND POWDER PROCESSING

Romaco Zanchetta pioneered one bowl granulation and drying technology, which is ideal for the contained processing of high-potency solid dose pharmaceutical products. It now offers a complete range of complementary storage and handling technology, including bins, blenders, wash stations and transfer systems to suit requirements at every pharmaceutical containment level.

TABLET FILLING

Romaco Bosspak revolutionized the market for tablet counters with its RTC range of rotary systems for tablet and capsule counting and filling. These offer high accuracy, thanks to positive control of products and containers, plus high speeds of up to 200 one-hundred-count bottles per minute.

CAPSULE FILLING

In the area of capsule filling technology, Romaco offers a choice of technologies - tamping pin or vacuum dosing - through its Macofar and Index ranges. Ideal for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products, the machines are available for all output requirements, from small clinical trial batches through to high-speed machines offering up to 150,000 filled capsules per hour.

STERILE LINES

Sterile lines are a specialty of Romaco Macofar, which offers a portfolio comprising washers, sterilizing tunnels and a choice of fillers for every type of product. Lines are constructed to comply with the requisite cleanroom standard.

TUBE FILLING LINES

Romaco Unipac produces versatile tube fillers for every requirement in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food sectors. All types of tube material - metal, laminate, PE can be accommodated, with a choice of technologies including single and double folds and hot air sealing.
