Containment Service Providers - Flexible Containment and Integrated Systems

Containment Service Providers (CSP) is an engineering company specialising in the design, supply and application of flexible containment and integrated systems. CSP evaluates current production lines and provides solutions, both physical and procedural, to ensure a clean and safe working environment and a higher GMP standard for its customers’ facilities.

Flexible containment systems

By applying proven methods of flexible containment we can offer a way forward that will improve your equipment capability for an ever increasing containment standard and reducing investment. The upgrading of existing facilities with flexible containment systems has many advantages for clients, including:

  • Forgo the cost of expensive plant by reducing capital costs
  • Improved ergonomics
  • Allow for operator-friendly use
  • Reduced need for PPE
  • Lower risk of cross contamination

Building on the designs and systems developed by us across all the leading pharmaceutical manufactures, we are able to expand on our capability. By applying proven methods of flexible containment we can offer a high level of containment without breaking the bank or incurring major plant process downtime.

Aseptic / sterile flexible isolators

CSP has the facility to design and build aseptic / sterile flexible isolators for a variety of applications in the pharmaceutical and medical industries. We have experience in the following areas:

  • Controlled atmosphere, including dry air, N2, low oxygen, etc.
  • Positive / negative pressure systems
  • Laboratory isolators
  • Multi-chamber isolators
  • Continuous liner transfer systems
  • All types of process solutions; i.e. seeding, reactor charging, sampling, etc.

We are able to construct flexible isolators in flexible film (uPVC, PU, PE, etc.), clear acrylic and stainless steel (grade 304 and 316).

Industrial hygiene monitoring and site evaluation

Containment Service Providers offers industrial hygiene monitoring, which establishes whether facilities are working within occupational exposure guidelines. This testing follows SMEPAC best practice guidelines. We supply the full service in support of our own supplied systems, or as an independent service (FAT/SAT).

Fogging systems for flexible containment applications

Fogging systems are mobile units used to support the safe removal and disposal of flexible containment systems. Fogging systems offer low-pressure, low-volume encapsulation cleaning. The fogging system has applications for the cleaning and containment of areas or surfaces contaminated with potent dry powders, and the safe removal of potentially contaminated PPE.

The fogging system can be used to support break in operations and maintenance work if there is no other primary containment device. Fog / mist cleaning generates relatively low volumes of waste. Fogging systems are encapsulation / cleaning systems that are low pressure and low volume.

Flexible containment suites and rooms

Using either full flexible containment suites or a combination of rigid and flexible technology, we can supply and install full containment suites. Applications include:

  • Segregation of equipment or plant
  • Remote charging stations
  • Decontamination and safe-change areas
  • Temporary clean rooms
  • Safe storage areas

Functionality and benefits include:

  • Any size achievable
  • Can be designed and fitted around existing plant, equipment and pipe work
  • Fully sealed floors
  • Segregated room / areas within the suite
  • Pressure cascades and HEPA filtration
  • Fully disposable
