Patheon will showcase ways to accelerate biologic process development and funding options for biopharmaceutical programmes at the Bio International Convention in Philadelphia from 16-17 June.

Scientific director of cell culture development Matt Caple and director of business development Tertia Dex, will offer exclusive scientific information sessions at booth #1374.

Matt Caple will discuss ways to reduce biologic process development timelines, while Tertia Dex will speak on non-dilutive funding for biopharmaceutical programmes and how companies can receive up to 45% cashback through the Australian research and development tax incentive.

Sessions will take place between 9:30am and 11:30am on Tuesday, and 2:30pm and 3:30pm on Wednesday.

Patheon will also host a reception for the premier and other government officials from Queensland, Australia, on 14 June, prior to the start of the convention.

Patheon’s facility in Brisbane, Australia, was awarded the 2014 International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Facility of the Year Award for process innovation, and supports the company’s biologics business and global footprint.
