LYCASIN® is a liquid maltitol with a sweet and pleasant taste. Its versatility makes it ideal for the preparation of sugar-free syrups and medicated confectionary.
In addition of its low-glycemic and insulinemic index, the composition of this maltitol syrup was specifically developed to generate very little acid production when in contact with the plaque bacteria; which means that it is tooth-friendly.
There is also no crystallization around the bottle neck (cap-locking evaluated by the Torque value) with that LYCASIN®80/55 (maltitol solution), which represents a comfort-of-use. It also shows better pH stability over the time comparing to sucrose based syrup, as well as its low reducing sugars content.
