The Supercritical Fluids division of Pierre Fabre Medicament will attend Drug Delivery Partnerships (DDP) 2016 in Florida as an exhibitor from 21-22 January.

The Supercritical Fluids team at Booth 103 at PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, will have details of the latest advances by its GMP unit based in France.

GMP SC CO2 technology platform has developed the Formulcoat coating process for taste masking and Formulplex enhancement of solubility and bioavailability, as well as Formuldisp for stable solid dispersion. These processes permit the development of poorly soluble APIs and new formulation of bitterness drugs.

The Supercritical Fluids team also applies its technology to the cleaning of medical components. Considering the intricate interaction between device, formulation and performance, the cleaning of medical components by supercritical fluids is an advantageous process, efficient and competitive in terms of cost.

The PFM team will be using the DDP Conference’s partneringONE system to network with existing and potential partners that seek further collaboration in manufacturing and innovation.
