The new very-high-pressure fitting systems from IDEX – Upchurch Scientific have the ability to withstand such application demands and are capable of running at continuous working high pressures and temperatures.
The VHP-200 very-high-pressure fitting system
This stainless steel fitting system is for use with 1/16in OD stainless steel tubing and is capable of a continuous working pressure up to 30,000 psi (~2,068 bar) and has a temperature limit of 200°C.
The VHP-300 very-high-pressure re-usable fitting
This high-pressure fitting is manufactured from stainless steel and a propriety blend of PEEK™ polymer. The fitting system is for use with 1/16in OD stainless steel tubing and is supplied with a Delrin® tightening tool. This fitting is capable of a continuous working pressure up to 20,000 psi (1,380 bar) and can withstand temperatures up to 200°C.
