Huber's new KISS model series

Huber Kältemaschinenbau presents the new KISS® model series, with economical cooling and heating circulators.

KISS stands for ‘Keeping Innovation Safe & Simple’ and describes what customers may expect from the devices. KISS Circulators come available with USB and RS232 connection, as well as an OLED Display as standard. The new white display can be read well at all times, even in brighter environments. With more than 50 models for heating and cooling from -30 °C to +200 °C, Huber’s range is said to adhere to the highest safety standards according to class III/FL (DIN 12876).

The new KISS circulators are well-suited for routine laboratory applications such as sample temperature control, analyses, and material testing, as well as external temperature control of measuring devices and test setups. Customers can choose from more than 50 models for heating and cooling.

Another new addition is the simultaneous display of actual temperature and set point value, as well as high / low temperature limit values. As a factory fitted option, a connection socket for a Pt100 sensor can be fitted. This permits the display (not control) of an external process temperature.

In line with the motto ‘Safe & Simple’, KISS devices are designed to offer easy operation and meet the highest standards in terms of safety. All models are equipped with an over temperature and low level protection according to Safety class III/FL (DIN 12876) and are also suited for flammable liquids.

The circulation pump generates a capacity of 14 l/min; 0.25bar on the pressure side and 10.5 l/min; and 0.17bar on the suction side, ensuring optimal mixing and homogeneous temperatures. With a temperature stability of ±0.05 Kelvin, a pump adapter for external applications is available as an accessory.

The KISS range includes baths made of transparent polycarbonate (up to +100°C) or high-grade stainless steel (up to 200°C) and refrigeration circulators for working temperatures down to -30 °C. The finishing touch to the range is a number of useful accessories, including test tube racks, adjustable bases, bath covers, sensors, hoses, and heat transfer liquids.
