The Cremer CF counting machine is a high-speed tablet and capsule counting machine for pharmaceutical and para-pharma industries - medicines, vitamins, food supplements, health products etc. In 1982 Cremer introduced the first linear tablet and capsule counting machine. Ever since, the CF model has been renowned worldwide for its 100% accuracy, high capacity, simple cleaning and operation, high reliability and durability.
The basic CF model is a linear tablet and capsule counting machine with three vibratory plates transporting the product from the product hopper to the detection unit with a built-in dust compensation feature. While freefalling through the detection channels, products are scanned and counted with 100% accuracy. Three dust extraction tubes and an additional dust collection manifold, provide an efficient way of removing product dust and small particles. High-speed air-operated cylinders underneath the detection unit are used to accurately collect and discharge the exact product counts into a container. During each count discharge the specially designed filling nozzle descends over the container / bottle neck in order to eliminate the possibility of product spillage.
The basic CF model can be provided with a large variety of product dedicated accessories and options like process-monitoring sensors and product and container reject systems. The CF frame is almost entirely constructed of stainless steel and all product-contacting parts are made of FDA accepted materials. The CF can be easily disassembled without tools, simplifying cleaning and maintenance.
With the single, double or four-track container / bottle conveyor, the CF1220 can operate fully autonomously. It can also be fully integrated into any tablet packaging line. To meet with the ever more growing demands on product validation, machine specific validation support documentation can be supplied.
The Cremer CF-1220 counter has a 12-channel detection unit and single-track conveyor for container / bottle transport with in and outfeed to the rear of the conveyor, making the machine independent of other equipment. The counter can be operated with the standard hand-held terminal or with an optional touch screen terminal. The counter capacity is typically up to 55 discharges per minute on a count of up to 100 products.
The Cremer CF1220*2 dual counter has two single CF-1220 models in one frame over a two-track conveyor. At the infeed section containers are divided from a single stream onto the two tracks, and at the outfeed section directed into a single stream again. The CF1220*2 has a 21CFR11 compliant touch screen terminal for complete system control and operation. The total counter capacity is typically up to 100 discharges per minute on a count of up to 100 products.
CF 1220*4 QUADRUPLE-HEAD, FOUR-TRACK, COUNTING MACHINE
The Cremer CF1220*4 consists of two CF1220*2 models over a four-track conveyor. The CF1220*4 includes container verification sensors, central guide adjustment, nozzle height indication and 21CFR11 compliant touch screen terminal for complete system control and operation. The total counter capacity is typically up to 200 discharges per minute on a count of up to 100 products. The CF1220*4 combines the speed of four individual counters with the operating simplicity of a single counter.
21 CFR PART 11 COMPLIANT SECURITY SYSTEM
In response to request from the industry, all CF models can be provided with the in-house developed Cremer Security System (CreSS), fully complying with 21 CFR part 11 regulation (electronic records and signatures). CreSS ensures the operator touch screen panel is limited only to authorized and qualified personnel. Attempted use by others is detected and recorded in electronically fingerprinted and tamper-proof files.
The CF 1220 series can be executed with many features and passed many IQ - OQ protocols.
