Phlexglobal has announced the appointment of Rick Riegel as chief executive officer and as a new member of its board of directors.
Rick will be based in Phlexglobal’s US headquarters in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Rick has 30 years of executive leadership and sales experience with technology and professional service firms focused on meeting the needs of companies in the pharmaceutical industry including IBM, First Consulting Group and Taratec Development.
Prior to joining Phlexglobal, Rick was CEO of LIQUENT, a software technology and outsourcing services organisation specialised in providing solutions that meet life sciences clients’ needs across regulated business processes that support product development, approval and lifecycle.
During his tenure, Rick oversaw LIQUENT’s transformation from a point publishing software solution supplier into the leading provider of regulatory information management solutions to the life sciences industry.
These solutions included the market leading LIQUENT InSight software platform and a range of regulatory outsourcing services.
