MODERN PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTION FACILITIES

Our industrial complex in Mexico has a production capacity of 140 million units per year. This complex includes a modern facility for the production of solid forms (tablets, capsules and coated tablets), a refurbished facility for the production of liquid forms (syrups, solutions and creams), a quality assurance laboratory and a totally automated warehouse.

Our plant includes an aluminum / PVC blister line (Marchesini, Gamma / Uhlmann), a bottled solid forms line (Kalish) and an aluminum / paper blister line (IMA).

PRODUCTION OF SOLID DOSAGE FORMS

Our dedicated facility for the production of solid dosage forms is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It boasts three-level design. Gravity is used to vertically transport substances. This is done in a completely closed environment, from the third to the second level, and from the latter to the first level. This system eliminates the risk of contamination while simultaneously optimizing both time and movement.

Many regulatory health authorities, like the FDA (USA), the TPD (Canada), the INVIMA of Colombia and the ANVISA of Brazil, have audited the solid dosage plant. Almost 50% of the production is exported directly to the USA and Canada.

LIQUID DOSAGE FORMS

Boehringer Ingelheim Promeco has a new and modern plant that is equipped for the exclusive production of liquids with the highest standards of quality. Our automated plant is highly flexible - one to three shifts, depending on customer production needs.

Our liquid preparation unit can hold four 5,000L tanks, two 4,500L tanks and one 2,500L tank or a 500L cream-manufacturing unit (Moltomat).

The packaging capacity at our liquid dosage forms plant includes:

• Bottled liquids filling lines of low and high dosage volume (IMA)
• Tubes filling / packaging line (Comadis)
• Manual packaging lines
