The ultraviolet light emitting diode (UV-LED) market should reach more than $500 million in 2019 as reported by market analysis.

From the $90 million business in 2014, this represents a growth by 5.5%.

The UV LED market is currently dominated at 95% by UVA (315 nm -400nm) LED and represents 20% of the total UV light source market volume.
