This year’s PMEC event has opened in Noida, Delhi, India.

The event has moved from Mumbai, where it is usually held. Visitors to the show were moderate, which is quite normal for Day 1.

As one of the top pharmaceutical exhibitions in India, PMEC attracts several hundred visitors and a selection of the world’s best companies exhibit there.

Visitors can also attend Gerteis’ booth in Booth 17, Hall 10. Some of India’s ‘Pharmaceutical Top 10 Companies’ have visited the booth already.

Gerteis is displaying its latest and most advanced roller compactor called Mini-Pactor®. This roller compactor has a multilingual human-machine-interface (HMI) and uses WINCC supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software as a platform, which supports international workgroups with different language backgrounds.

The containment level for this roller compactor is between occupational exposure band (OEB) 3 and OEB4  and will meet the wash-in-place (WIP) function for most the roller compactor containment requirements.

This unit is designed to process some of the most difficult products in the research and development (R&D) phase, as the capacity will start from 10g per trial up to 100kg/h. The maximum capacity enables small production or clinical trials on the same machine.
